On the conference weekend, there will be construction at the "Europaplatz" tram stop which you will want to use for access to the conference. The tram stop is still in operation but it is only served by two special tram lines, the E1 which goes back and forth between Europaplatz and Kronenplatz to the East, and the E2 which goes back and forth between Europaplatz and Tivoli to the South, past the central railway station.
E1 can be used free of charge; E2 requires a standard tram ticket.
