Introduction to libosmscout

A C++ Library for Offline Map Rendering and Routing

Abstract

Libosmscout is a C++ library for offline map rendering, location look up and routing. It targets mobile devices and desktop. It is highly customizable.

The talk introduces you to the project by showing potential use cases, presenting main features, giving a few simple code examples and some technical background. Discussion is expected and encouraged.

You can find the homepage at http://libosmscout.sourceforge.net/ and some articles in my blog http://framstag.wordpress.com/category/openstreetmap/ (both not that up to date as I would like them to have).
